The Emerging Models project, a joint effort of six national ministry organizations, has been involved in a collaborative effort on sustaining pastoral excellence in emerging models of pastoral leadership in the Catholic Church. Among other efforts, they organized an historic 2008 National Ministry Summit in Orlando, FL that brough 1300 participants from various ministries to listen, converse, network, and recommend about future options for pastoral leadership.
The National Association for Lay Ministry is now on Facebook to share more of what is going on at NALM about lay ecclesial ministry. Facebook members can join our group!
St. John’s School of Theology and Seminary hosted the 2007 National Symposium on Lay Ecclesial Ministry. This link takes you to the page the school has set up as an archive for the event, including symposium papers and the executive summary.
